Didn't own a car until I was 40, always had company cars for nearly 20 years, that was an expensive shock having to tax insure maintain a car and van 😱

not really, i like the mechanics of it more. had another gsi i put a red top into. Lost interest in the end and bought a van. the rest is history. I have a ford ranger over here, 3.0 straight 6. gas guzzler.

I always wanted a G60 Corrado but never managed it...

G60 was the supercharged Corrado. The VR6 was a 2.9, took a few out but never committed to buying one. I think a Scirocco Storm had electric windows and leather. Recently contemplated buying another Scala (eBay £1550) storing for my boy so his first car would be the same as mine. Still trying to convince the missus.
