Not sure the sales manager was out when I went in today. Nobody actually knew if that was mine or not but it's got all the extra's on I've ordered so I'll assume it is until I get corrected lol

Just needs PDI checking and then I collect it. Not sure how long that takes? Is it just like a MOT type affair where they check everything?

PDI's used to be tick-box exercises but the last time I bought a new car direct from a dealership was 11 years ago. They also stamp your service book to show the PDI has been done, I think.

You do realise you'll get it home and won't want to take it out in the snow, just in case somebody comes along and dings it? I had my corsa for 4 months before somebody dinged it. I was never attached to it after that although I do miss it now because it was so ickle and easy to drive.

I thought you were buying a dog or something!
Now I've read it - enjoy the vehicle.
I thought he was buying one of these John

Is the reg plate you bought going straight on it Dan?

No mate, picking it up plated with it's own allocation and then transferring it myself before I do the old Pimp My Ride style reveal lol
Doing it as a project for the forum so got the lads involved in what they'd want to see on it and what they want us to test etc. So got a big list, and going to pick a setup for the initial reveal with a cool wrap and whatnot. Want some pictures to be posted with it quite stock though first (looks stock other than the wheels and tow bar now even with the few bits and bobs).

Ta Liz.

Taking it out in the snow?!?!?! I have three off-roading days booked already lol. Got to do a right chore of booking long weekends away every weekend for the next 10 (from when I get it) to get the engine run in well so I can modify it 😉 (some old FezRacers never change eh?) - Got a DPF removal and remap booked in already for that.

I got visions of Dan with his nose pressed to the showroom window now !

It's outside lol - I actually touched it, twice!!!!! haha

good on ya dan, enjoy it mate ;0)
as my dad used to say, theres no pockets in shrouds, spend you money on the things that make you happy!
