Never used a grinder to cut tiles...

One thing I noticed...the grinder seems to get very dusty ....should I be cleaning or oiling it in any way.....other than giving it a good brush down..

I recommend these blades too, not sure if you do much marble and trav work but they are great for it

I've never cleaned my grinder once I think there a sealed unit anyway. Have you been using the wet sponge ?

No just a soft brush

I mean when your cutting Andy, you really want to be holding a wet sponge against the blade

Definitely converted for stone.....not sure about porcelain...

Stick with it for A bit exclusively and see how you feel in a few weeks, get your bench set up so it's comfortable to work at. Use the wet sponge on the blade and the cut will be infinitely cleaner and all round nicer

Thats a good tip about the wet sponge , i cant imagine tiling without a grinder..

When cutting an L shape is there a trick to getting the last bit out in the corner..?
