New Forum Layout

What do we think of the new forum style? Nothing drastically different, I just thought it's easier on the eye and the menu works a bit better this way.

Let me know your thoughts.

Refresh what mate? It's actually less server intensive as it doesn't have the big image-driven header at the top of all pages.

Not working too good for me Dan. I probably have the settings
wrong but some posts i can't find again having read them once.
Also a thread that i had subscribed to has dissappeared completely this afternoon.

Click on Quick links and then todays posts and you will find them. Once you have read a post or replied you wont see it until someone else replies/ Takes a while but it works well IMO.

I've replied to your email regarding the thread that was removed. And regarding the 'New Posts' feature, you can read about that here: http://www.tilersforums.com/links-site-updates-suggestions-feedback/30523-new-posts.html - it's nothing to do with the design/layout change.

I liked the tab at the top for new posts, but I found its new position and will get used to it just as quick I suppose.
It is a bit easier on the eye with less green

I thought it makes it easier to read the actual thread content. New visitors should find it much better than the old layout, I think.

It was only the Google ads that got removed on the old design mate. Though if you're logged in on this one, there are no Google ads.

Though the difference is, you'll see the forum sponsors on thread pages now, whereas on the old design you didn't, there wasn't any ads on thread pages.
