It was only the Google ads that got removed on the old design mate. Though if you're logged in on this one, there are no Google ads.

Though the difference is, you'll see the forum sponsors on thread pages now, whereas on the old design you didn't, there wasn't any ads on thread pages.

Not sure I like it, it squashes the text content of the threads making it harder to read IMO, any chance of getting the sponsors across the bottom of the page or even at the top? the top banner looks a bit bare at the moment with a white background but no doubt your still making changes.

What screen res have you got you PC set to Dan? just so I can see what you see

Though I've tested it to 1024 x 768.

To be fair it has never bothered me being down the side on some pages but in threads it just seems a little overloaded (i.e. busy) being there but no doubt if you change the postion in the threads it also changes the postion on other pages, no???

I haven't got 1440 x 900 setting but in 1600x900 it looks ok but i've got a 22" screen so it can handle it not sure about others?
my normal setting is 1024x768. purley because I believe that is the most common setting nowadays so it helps me with webdesign at the moment
