Off to get new sunglasses tomorrow to stop the snow blindness........all is very very white. Cool logos though

My screen resolution is 1680 x 1050 and the top header looks really empty. But, I do like the new NavBar  Logo is looking good too

Due to it looking not so empty in 1024 x 768 (and actually it including MORE than the old style banner-wise) I wont be adding anything else to the main header (the top bit of the website above the menu).

Though I do appreciate the fact that in higher resolutions there is a lot of white. I opted for that to keep the attraction to the main content in the actual threads though, so there was method in the 'madness'. 🙂

hope you all get used to it.

I just centred the ads in the header, it shouldn't look so empty now for those of you with higher screen res?

Seems to take longer to load pages????????
As I said earlier in the thread. This layout uses less images so is less server-intensive. Page loads are around 0.3 seconds. The new top bit of the forum has halved the page load. So it's probably your local machine's cached copy of the forum.

Hold down the CTRL key and whilst holding it, hit the F5 key, which fully refreshes your cached copy of the site and you should find it's instantly loading.

Dan I lost the link to remove ads, not that I object to sponsor logos at all, it just makes my thread boxes look crammed to the right hand side:thumbsup:
