new RUBI TS50 -L- PLUS

Ok lets make this easy we are talking VW AND skoda in that order and just so you recognise the VW next time you see one here's the Raimondi 75

There is in my opinion no comparison this model is the best 75cm bed cutter on the market.

Your next point about the Rubi TS breaking tiles is of course totally right the single point breaker does just that it breaks porcelain tiles. Your 900 of course has the new seperator as they are now calling it which is a lot better than the TS range and uses the fulcrum method. This is why the tons of pressure Rubi quote means little the method of splitting the tile relies on mechanical advantage.

i believe the skoda is made by vw  no rubi ts + breaks the tiles and the tx 900 is a very poor 2nd to the ts and the tx wont cut a 25mm strip off a 600x600

First time I have seen a Raimondi, looks remarkably similar to my Montolit masterpiuma 63.

PJC if you are ever close to PTS in Harlow call in and speak to them, I am sure they would let you have a look. I used both Rubi and Montolit when I was training, I liked both cutters for different reasons but decided ultimately that the Montolit was a more cost effective purchase.

Only problem I have had is on my current job where I was trying to cut a really heavily textured porcelain tile, couldn't get a deep enough score to get the tile to cut straight, even if I scored the back. I think this is probably a tile issue and not the cutter.

They are also superb for cutting mosaics as well, as they have a dual breaking system.
