I like the look of them but finding a local supplier could be interesting...

Interesting msg whitebeam...

As we speak I am (and Im sure Arron, the Southern Sales Representative at Genesis is too) promoting these products in every meeting I have and so far it is getting the attention it deserves and independent retailers are stocking the product.

Realistically, all independent tile retailers can get these products for you, all they have to do is call me, Arron or Genesis directly and order the products in either for their stock or for your requirement (deliveries are usually next day for retailers. I know not every retailer deals with Genesis but they do not have to change their stock if they do not want to, just order things in as and when they want to.

With a national network, the best answer I can give you is CTD, in the north they stock a comprehensive amount of Genesis products and will get anything you want from the Genesis catalogue next day (or same day in the case of some closer retailers to the office) In the South the share of trims is split betweeen ourselves and Homelux more but all CTD branches can put an order on for a product you need from Genesis so please do not be afraid to ask your local branch for anything out of our catalogue.

As you are aware, unfortunatley we do not trade with Topps Tiles, Tile Giant, B&Q, Homebase, etc. in any real way at present (Please though, let me know if you would like to see that change, this may be the start of another poll - Where would you like to buy Genesis products from?) so it is a case of finding your 'local' Genesis Distributor but our network is comprehensive and we do cater for individual orders aswell as stock items for our retailers.

The internet provides a good service for Genesis products too and I know protilertools.co.uk do have EAT (Triangular trim) in stock and Andy is very good at picking up on trends and if he doesnt have the full range in he will be doing so soon. He is a professional tiler himself so working with him on new products is always a good exercise. Im sure though if you contact him and ask for a specific product again he will be able to get them for you.

So tell me more about yourself and your buying habits whitebeam? Who is your preferred tile retailer? and more importantly, do you think the Genesis brand should be availible in more merchants/retailers near you and f so which one?

This is all great feedback so far guys. Please keep it coming. If you have any questions I am happy to help...

May have local place thinking about it but the guys that work in there do just that and as far as I know would'nt have clue, the outlet is called Acorntiles but on credit card receipts it say Mansell and Wells LTD and the main guy is never there.

The reason I go there is because it's less than 2 mile from where I live and they supply weber adhesive but I like to get hold of a sample just to show people....these are going to be popular.

Hi Luke, how you doing? Spoke to you in CTD Helen street on tuesday morning. I was Stef the good looking one out the two of us.

Did you decide to come on here 'cause i was harping on about the forum? You will enjoy being here.

Regarding the triangle trim. I will just say to everyone that the samples i saw were really nice & well finished with the corner pieces.

They are the best looking trims i have seen for a while, the corner pieces fit very nice with no sharp edges.

Hi guys, sorry im a little late to post on these. Whilst Im here though:

1) Yes Stef, I came on here because you were good looking and recommended it to me ;-) Im you have physically seen the product and are on the forum though, it helps me immensley.
2) Not got a window pic yet Furtec but we are currently getting bathrooms done up and down the country with it so as soon as I have some pictures I will post them.
3) Hi John Benton, Yes the corner pieces are internal and external triangular pieces that have one arm that slides in.
4) Hi Moe. Yes, the new aluminium triangular trims do come complete with a protectective film on them that you can peel off after tiling & will also help when transporting the trims.

Thanks for the posts guys, like I keep on saying I do appreciate all feedback so keep it coming...
