This reminds me- i used the new dna blade this week. Tasty looking thing it is too.
In all honesty though, it's no improvement on the marcrist akkumax blades that I've used this past year. It's thicker, stronger too, so less chance of ruining it with a knock (as i have with the akkumax).
So my opinion is this:
upside: it cuts as cleanly as an akkumax, it's a bit thicker, certainly stronger.
The downside is the thickness means it's a bit (little bit) slower, and on cordless you won't get as many cuts.
It's also more expensive. Another 10+ pounds.
I've so far only used it on porcelain. I suspect it's going to be much better than the akkumax on stone though, due to its additional strength...
I'm pretty careful with my tools but i don't like the delicate build of the akkumax. on balance, the dna evo3 is a better blade. if it was the same price as an akkumax it would be a clear winner though.
