John's having a disc in his lower back removed...remember?
How annoying, tried to reply to John while he was still online but PC froze....and reply didn't register... so it's just a waiting game now... he's been an absolute hero over the last few months working while in agony and on morphine, doesn't bear thinking about... shudder...

John, I had excruciating :incazzato: back pain up until 8 or 10 years ago, so I feel your pain buddy. I hope all is well after the surgery! :thumbsup:
 
Thanks again all for your kind words.i`m home opp went good,neurosurgeon said it was worse than he originally thought and what had showed up on mri scans,the disc was abselutely nacked so in lots of pain and on even more drugs than before :drool5::dizzy2::dizzy2::drool5: 10mg butrans patch,tramedol,indometacine,codeine and something else but dont know the name of it on max amounts of what i can take :smilewinkgrin:(DROWSETASTIC):lol:,they probably wont mean much to some of you but gissela will know them and even tho thats some serious pain killers it still hurts like hell but its done now and just have to get thro these next 2/3 days of pain and i`ll be fine,vicky said you`d rung Gisella thank you again,your a true friend and a credit and an asset to the forums and goes to show that the people on the forum and this forum are the best :thumbsup: thanks all.
 
Just the road to recovery now.......so get some rest and don't drink with those pain killers are you will end up posting like wivers...:lol:
 
Aaahhh, welcome back, John :thumbsup: To let you go home that quickly can only mean good things, so well done, yes just hang on in there, soon it will be a distant memory. Rest up, sleep lots and enjoy your family. yeah G they said if i could eat,drink,get up and move about a bit every so often and walk up some stairs, 2 physio`s 1 at each side while i went up 1 step at a time took a while but did enough to get them to let me home thank god, didn`t have a lot of sleep while i was in there lots of other noisy patients.but yeah gona have lots of sleep/rest and just take it easy.was absalutely awsome to see my little lad tho,not seen him from sunday evening missed him like mad.
 
Great, great, great, actually I'm amazed - you are the first person I have ever known to come out of hospital so quickly after the op. Shouldn't you be asleep by now? Tututut...:lol:
