looks great. I like unusual boarders make set's it apart from the norm. nice touch!

not to sure about the sealing? a bit Swedish sauna. done of the back of your advice i take it.

I know all the scratches are for rustic purposses, but In this case I think they are a little OTT and make the floor look more like it's ready to be replaced.... they look absolutly knackard :dizzy2:

looks great DG, I love the picture rail height border and the diamond sets, very impressive!

Mmm, not alot i could do here the joiner already had his spoke in for that. Doesnt really suit the rest of the house. Painted & skimmed plasterboard would have been the ticket!

Its just the quartz (or calcite) veining in the marble. Sort of suited the house as its old. Lovely victorian tiling downstairs in the large hallway.

Nice work Davy,
love the floor and all,i'v done similar up in dundalk for a customer a couple of years ago.
I like the high border,i do it myself too usually below the top tile or first joint above window, looks sweet and makes some rooms look bigger(thats what i say anyway, lol).
That glass pic of mine you looked at was unusual colours(hotel job, there were 3 different sets of colours total)
keep up the good work.
