How many of you guys come accross plumbers who not only screw wash basins and W/C 's to the wall but insist on using a tube of Silicon to secure them to the wall . What a waste ! some i've come accross have even used builders adhesive to stick them to the walls . This means you have to cut round everthing which does nothing for the finish and takes a lot longer to do . One plumber I asked came back with the answer ,;Tilers; they want everything to suit them, They will cut F@~#k ALL nowadays . This mans a total plonker, Bad attitude or what . Surely at the pumbers courses the tutors are not teaching the students this .....:mad2:

yes on some courses they teach plumbers to Silicon and bolt every thing,
some plumbers go mad with the Silicon I have had to smash toilets, basins and shower trays to remove them, Silicon should be used as well as bolting but only as a water seal, how i look at it is if you can cut old Silicon with a knife to remove a basin then the right amount has been used if you can not get to the old silicon then the arse that put it there should remove it.

Don't get me started on this topic...........I'll loose it otherwise.

Plumbers who do ALL of the above :furious3:

Sparks who insist on leaving cable ends all over the place.........before you have grouted that floor :furious3:

Plasterers who are either pi**ed or boss eyed, and leave rounded corners :furious3:

Builders who are never on time, when your booked in :furious3:

Customers who forget how to "put the kettle on" :furious3:

Rant over..........deep breaths into this paper bag..................C.A.L.M

Indeed there are good guys and bad guys. Have to say 90% of the time ive been lucky and had good guys or been able to work in with the programme.

Odd occasion you cant you geton with it eh!

Fein Multimaster, er not over the moon i have to say. I watched the video and did extensive research on here and the web and anywhere else i could find stuff and headed everyones advice to let the machine to do the work.

Carbhide blade for re grout bent! Not only on the blade but also the star hosuing part as well so kept slipping!

Carbhide triangle, same!

Cut some door architrave today and smoked to hell at all speeds and with no pressure from me on the blade, honestly. Seeemd to be a big issue on the blades so i was ectra extra cautious.

Also couldnt switch the thing on, button really really stiff. Had to use gloves to get enough grip to push it on.

In the process of speaking to the place where i got it from to see whats what!
