Just been to see about a kitchen splasback. L shape first length 5m by 0.50 second length 2m by 0.50 with usual cooker hood and sink sections.total 6m2.
Standard tiles with glass border. Also need to fit stainless steel splash back (any ideas on fixing more than welcome! What Price would you charge inc materials????? Help my head is gonna explode!:mad2: I have been either really cheap or abit pricey want to get this one right!

Ok. Now i normally find that kitchens are fiddly things sometimes. Depends how many sockets and how the window lies in the big scheme of things. Assuming things go smoothly I would be allocating 2 days to do the whole job so for me 2 x day rate.

I have never fixed one of theose splashbacks so can't help with that.

i might be cheap but at the moment up here work is getting harder to get so i would charge £200inc mats.As for the stainless splashback...fix with rawplugs and screws if they have holes or fix with no more nails.Most of the splashbacks have ply or mdf on the back which can be fitted to the wall first then the metal on top.hope this helps:grin:
