I watched the full documentary on this some time ago, from the selection of the metals after days of work to the end product, fantastic viewing, and a whoile lot of effort goes into it, couldn't watch the youtube link as my connection is buggy tonight, looked like the same thing though

Dave, that is a great video mate.

I wish I could remember the documentary that I saw years ago that detailed how muskets were made hundreds of years ago. Like the samuri sword, it took months to make those by hand and the cost was equal to an entire year's income. It was fascinating to see how they formed the barrels and rifled them.

I love em. i bought a set about ten tears ago with the stand and cost a good few quid second hand and they are nothing special to some ive seen. then the knife laws changed and they are wrapped up in the loft somewhere. couldnt bring myself to chuck em in a bin outside the local cop shop:lol:
