Quote for removing garage foundations

I have made a decision to go for impressed concrete printing. I have two quotes that have come out the same 2.5k ish for 40 sqm with 3 steps so I think that is a good deal.

Now I don't know how to choose them.

One said that he gets the concrete coloured rather than spray it after, the other's portfolio was great. Does anyone know anything about this industry?

need more info concrete with color added is this going to be sealed after and what product are they going to spray on concrete to achieve color

it depends on the colour and effect your after

if its a multi colour effect then the colurant is added after and then sealed

but if its one colour throughout then then you can order the concrete with colour added at mixing stage

both are correct

the sealant used is the same as block paving seal

the sealant protects the surface from oil drips etc and can be washed down

I done this when it first came into the country but has improved vastly over the years.

We used to colour the surface then print, I have seen a few jobs which we done and there showing signs of the surface colour wearing to the fine concrete but thats over 15 years ago.

The biggest problem was cracking, the corner of houses and manholes were the biggest culprits.
Control joints need to be placed carefully but some excelllent finishes have been acheived.

Thanks guys for the info, it is so difficult as they are both really nice people that quoted. I think if the colour is already in the concrete it may be more durable and it has a 15 year guarantee.
