I noticed the slivers as well, but I also saw what you had done with the window. The slivers are mitigated by that. I'd done it slightly differently, but everything else looks really good.

theres always someone out there looking to catch a freebie. These people are nothing more than con artists and shouldnt be allowed get away with it. Your work looks excellent and you deserve to be paid in full. Take steps to get the full payment including costs through the small claims court.:furious3:

Personally i dont like those slither cuts but as you say ( and i do take your word for this) you followed his Spec. The man is a prize Wazzock.
How much did you quote?

If this guy is so cometenet and he had a good look every night at your progress then, why thehell didn't he mention this before completion. This way you could have perhaps corrected any minior discrepencies.

Originally quoted £21 psq m and settled for £20 - and yes banked the cheque - I have mouths to feed just like the rest!

Fortunately I'm not THAT desperate that I declined his promise of the main bathroom - he has my invoice for the full amount which still has the balance outstanding!
