hello
Today started new bathroom renovation, and just want to share why grout is cracking sometimes ,

the top picture is almost a solid bed with the floor tile but what is the substrate, the dot and dab says it all on the wall tiles:yikes:

i did sample today, primed bit of floor with primer G, and glued ''ditra'' mating, will try tomorrow to peal off, will see if it strong enough :20:

they pictures are shocking, and something as simple as priming the floor would have saved all the hassle

If that is an anhydrite floor in a bathroom then i advise it is tanked..

Gypsum floors do not like getting overly wet.

hello
Friday finished this job, was 2 layers of plasterboard so replaced 1 layer with hardibacker, I primed floor and then used uncoupling membrane on anhydrite screed,
hope you like it
Thanks
