restoring antique tiles

Hi there
I'd really appreciate some advice on restoring damaged tiles around a fireplace we're going to install. I've taken some pictures to show the damage but Struggling to add them from my iPad. Basically there are a few tiles with chipped corners, there was a powdery residue which I've brushed away and want to know what's the best thing to use as filler and the best paint to touch up with and match the original green glaze?

hi jules,cant advise on paint or fillers im afraid as paint wont make your tiles look restored,there are a few guys on here who do restoration work would be good to see the pics have you tried downsizing them?

car body filler is as good as any.Furniture restorers use it for substantial repairs to furniture.It will however be tricky to sort out the paint.Filler painted green will look less obtrusive than whats there though.

I think you need to find a glazing forum to ask about the paint mate

Thanx for all the help, will give the carbody filler a try and check out a glazing forum
