so sorry to hear that news Phil. I hope Badger is watching over you from doggy heaven now. I have no idea what you're going through as I have never been old enough to understand what it is like to lose a family pet (I was 2 when the vet came to take Barney away). My thoughts are with you at this precious time.

So sorry to hear about it Phil mate. Love collies myself and still have one at my parents. It's a fair age though mate that so I'm sure it lived and was loved.

You say you wont have another when one passes away, but as dog lovers, we still get another. (Two in my case now).

Keep your chin up Phil. I know how it feels. One of my cats was run over by a local 'nut' driver last year. Still gets me bubbling.

We've got an 11 year old German Shepherd who's hips are starting to go and I'm totally dreading the day that you have had recently.....

My genuine thoughts are with you and your family, coz a dog is as good as a family member to us as well
