Bit of a vague question. What is the quality of the screed like? How long has it been down? What tiles are being fitted? What construction is the building? What is the intended purpose of the garage?
I can't ever recall using an S2 on a garage floor in the past. S1 for me for nearly everything nowadays
The trouble with an s2 adhesive if you have to build it up at all to level the floor because of the movement capabilities in the adhesive you actually build in a problem of potential movement particularly with heavy loads moving across the floor
I'd go with a thin mat like BAL Rapidmat or Tilemaster's and a plain old S1.
No need for an S2 surely?
Also, make sure you've got the expansions in place.
I'm guessing as you want a mat in there, there aren't any in the screed?
Interestly, ultra S2 is said to act as an anti fracture itsself.
That would make using it probably cheaper than putting a matt down.
However, this is not a common tried and tested method.
