Show Us YOUR Work Thread - Tilers Pictures

Tilers Forums Official Sponsors

Edit May 2024: THIS is a New Show Us Your Work Thread for 2024 Onwards

This is the new Tilers Showcase Forum where we want new tiling work added, with each tiling job you complete having a thread of its own so people can see what kind of work you do, and potential customers can find your work

I thought it was about time we had a thread dedicated to all members of Tilers forums to show us any work that they do.

Be it from installing a kitchen to garden decking. Show us your work! Get those pictures taken, but then do something with them! Actually add them to a thread and some facebook groups with your website link in them etc and it'll help spread the tile love. 🙂

If you have done a job then please do share it with us.

Pics are a MUST as what is the point of sharing a job without them...

So if you do a job and you take a few pics then please do share it with us.

Lets make it a big thread for all to view and input in.

Thanks Dave ..:thumbsup::thumbsup:

i know what you mean with the window and it is the first thing you see walking in the room. but if you look at the tiling in the wetroom everything was centered from there i felt using the offcut to carry round the wall would get away from all the tiles in the corners being different shades of travertine. you can't see inside the recess but that was all 1 tile. maybe a oak window cill might of helped. but do agree with you about tile trim's customer wanted them. here's a picture of me not using trimsView attachment 48231

As you say Richard it's only a picture to me.can't see what's goin on in the rest of the room.. Nice job mate it's credit to ya... 😉

Good looking floor rainsco.
How much does that solnhofner cost which was in herribone pattern in photo per sq mt.itbused to be very good value for money.
I have fixed Irish blue limestone which I think was from Carlow one time over in s.ireland.
I will make a couple of calls to someone I know tomorrow row.
What size format, finish and quantity are you looking at

hi jonny,
the herribone pattern 20cmx40cm costs about 40euro + tax. the 20cm, 25cm and 30cm pattern in diffrent lenghts costs about 50euro + tax.. thats the price my customers payed direct from quarry.

for the bathroom i looked for a floor and wall in 40 wide and free length or maby 80x80cm floor. i have to see we are at the beginning from the planing. we need a 13cm tranche ca. 250 x 60 for a double washing basin and a 3 or 4cm slab for a big snail shower and a seatbank.

my customers want a color like basaltina but its difficult to get affordable tranches. so at the moment we are searching for a etna basalt. any kind of blue stone has to be smoothed about C60 because otherwise it is to dark for the customers. serena is nice but it is a very soft sandstone. so at the moment i´m searching for any kind of stone in concrete optik. thats not easy. today i sanded nero assoluto with C80. its ok but i hope we get some affordable etna basalt.

little stone wall. first time i sell this kind of glued closers.

This is a job we done about 22 years ago, pics taken on a old camera. It took just under 2 weeks to set out, every wall was gridded out and every tile was fixed individually/no serration. I've got a couple more pics in loft so will put on the next couple of days. Thought you might like to see them.
