Show Us YOUR Work Thread - Tilers Pictures

Tilers Forums Official Sponsors

Edit May 2024: THIS is a New Show Us Your Work Thread for 2024 Onwards

This is the new Tilers Showcase Forum where we want new tiling work added, with each tiling job you complete having a thread of its own so people can see what kind of work you do, and potential customers can find your work

I thought it was about time we had a thread dedicated to all members of Tilers forums to show us any work that they do.

Be it from installing a kitchen to garden decking. Show us your work! Get those pictures taken, but then do something with them! Actually add them to a thread and some facebook groups with your website link in them etc and it'll help spread the tile love. 🙂

If you have done a job then please do share it with us.

Pics are a MUST as what is the point of sharing a job without them...

So if you do a job and you take a few pics then please do share it with us.

Lets make it a big thread for all to view and input in.

Thanks Dave ..:thumbsup::thumbsup:

here is a bathroom where three vertical sets of mosaics specified which is is not unusual nowasdays.
each set of mosaics set out to be central to shower back wall/vanity/bath.
field tile 600 x 300 set portrait .
plumbed up field tiles and then set a 6mm backer board to allow for original style mosiac plus min bed by using a notched out timber .
I actually think this is a great way make a statement in a bathroom .

15mm honed marble (Crema Marfil I think) completed recently. Grouted in Limestone which dried out a bit lighter than the pictures. Matched well with the vein, the various ivory shades didn't go as well.

Couldn't afford the full professional 5 day course run by the plasterer but still managed to gain an NVQ while he sat on the staircase watching! He even attempted to ask me why I'd started where I did only to be told - it's with 40 years of trial and error! You have to laugh Phil otherwise we wouldn't see our grandchildren grow up.
Keep working hard don't forget my coffee next time our paths meet.

I hope we do meet again John, I will not forget the coffee, I still chuckle about your excellent mosaic eye, (bloodshot as it was) on the mosaic course in Stoke.

I run out of traverting on the job today so decided to mitre cut the window ledge as had some time to spare, i had a mess arround with the dewalt to see what it could do, great cutter!

Lovely mitres mark

Thanks Mark!! Everything above the full tile will be an additional work to the agreed origonal work. customer will be having a look tomorrow. Just wondering how to price it though... tbh, id do it for free as its no trouble but thats not how you run a business i suppose.
