Ok, that could be two things - a facet joint dysfunction - in layterms meaning one or more rips don't sit right against the spine - let's start with that.

Does it feel it takes your breath away? if you breathe in, extending your ribs to the side, what does that do? Hurt like hell or feel kind of painful but good? Is it a sharp or a dull pain? Sorry for all the questions, sitting in front of the pc probably won't help. Please do ring me, might be easier, I'll talk you through it.., am at home with nothing better to do!

i did mine in playing ten pin bowling with the kids.........giving it the old fred flintstone shuffle down the alley, couldn't blooming move the next day, its easy done, took about 5 weeks before it was right again

No pain when breathing.. Osteopath did tell me to keep up visits to realign spine joints.. it started a while back with tightness in a couple points in the spine and it has slowly moved down..

But all i did was some gentle knee tucks to stretch my back whilst laid down.. wrong move..:lol:.. i don't think it is muscular as the pain is in my spine then spreads to hip when i move..

Deffo needs that burly ex rugby player osteopath to crack it back into place..and that does hurt,,

I get that every so often . hurts like hell. First time it happened I thought it was a heart attack...........

i found that a lot of my back trouble was muscle spasm ,and i just had to wait a few day for it to come out of spasm , or pop a few pill,s
