How do..Found this site,thought I'd share...tile to skirt,and then cover existing skirting with new rebated skirting.yes it costs to buy,then needs fitting. But may be cost effective.

If money no issue it has to be better than damaging walls removing existing skirting.but I conceed is a bit over the top.
