for those who have sky plus

try the following

press services button
press system set up
enter the following 0 then 1 then press enter
press 7
then press select

wait till finished or untill 2 mins have passed

turn off box at wall and restart after 2 mins



just done this and went from 7% space to 75%space
apparantly its like defragging diskdrive

Doesn't work for me. Our box and layout appears to have been updated a couple of months ago and the menu system is totally different so I'm guessing this is the reason it's different for me.

Let me know if you find out how to do the new HD+ box layout.

The 001 bit doesn't do anything and then scrolling left just brings up some help menu so there's no "rebuild" bit anywhere.

Dan , it should work , it does on mine and i have the new programme guide software , you need to be quick entering it with the handset , do you know what make of HD box you have and what is the EPG software version
