My daisy was from a rescue center as well, they seem to appreciate every last thing you do for them that little more.

After my lovely lad Sparkie died in December I swore I would never have any animals again. Then someone told me about Lenny, I went to down to have a look at him, and ended up a blubbering wreck..he came home with me that day. He's got a bald patch on the back of his neck where the scum bag of a drug addict had stubbed a ciggie out on him. It makes me feel sick thinking about what hes been through.

Bur now he gets too go to sleep and not have too worry about anything, and thats vecause off you so you should feel good.
Te wife watched a progrsm about animal centers last night apparently it was horrible. i sat in other room cant watch things like that they upset me.

I go through the insomnia bit every six months or so. It's horrible. I don't know what to suggest other than to eliminate the standard things they say can affect ability to sleep: caffeine, spicy food, too much electronic stimulation before bed (computer, video games, tv, etc), too much stress, not enough exercise, etc.

Sometimes my beagle jumps on my lap while I'm reading and that almost always makes me sleepy.

Lynn, my sister has four rescue cats. :yikes:

Get a younger and more attractive wife then you wont feel so bad being awake most of the night...:lol:

Not had the luxury of sleep recently.working days and nights,domestic during day & commercial at night,bloomin hard,but cannot complain as it is better than the quiet spell I had,that was terrible. Didn't sleep much then either,worrying.
Always feast or famine.

Mike, you need to take the kids out and wear yourself out by running around with them. Go to the park, the museum, anywhere just get yourself out and doing stuff.
