Needed to change my lifestyle.. i want to be around to see my little girl grow up....

So decided to lose some weight and stop drinking too much.. i feel so so much better for it..

hiya mikebidd,i agree 100 percent on daves look on this,,change yer diet,cut back the drinking and ciggys too and you will be a new man this was also my docs advice when we were tryin to have kids,,,,,,,,worked for me p.s. that doesnt mean my cucumber was limp:lol:

Since I quit smoking a few months back I have slept loads better

I had a sleeping problem last year and a friend of mine told me that it's because of the stress. He recommended me when I lay in the bed to imagine a box full with my thoughts and problems and after that to imagine how I remove them one by one till the box is complete empty. I know it's sounds strange but it helped me :hurray:.

I'm not a keen reader but I read in bed. After 10 minutes I'm dropping off. Takes about two months to get through a book and I can't remember much of it. I found years ago that my mind was too active (usually worrying) and reading was a distraction.

I read ibooks on my new phone. Brilliant for getting off to sleep. Just read Louis Theroux, Trip to America. Can't remember a sentence out of it but I'm sure it was good. :lol:
