Snows gone here but absolutely freezing took 10 minutes to defrost the van this morning, no scrapers or windscreen spray here they dont know what it is.
Lucius in sunny Spain.

I was supposed to be grouting a 30M2 floor, this morning, thought I would have a nice easy day. Now i'm snowed in, this will bugger my plans for finishing Xmas eve.

damn, been out sledging and Gabriel (my youngest) walked into a barbed wire stock fence, got a 2" cut along his cheek:yikes:

Well, we had a light frosting this morning, mainly the remnant of a light snow fall yesterday, went to my mums at 12, 10 miles away, started snowing around half 1, I left a half 2, drove 10 miles home, complete chaos, we live on quite a secluded estate, not a chance of getting up the hills into it, tried and failed all 4 routes into the estate, I've had people pushing the car and all sorts, damn you rear wheel drive car.

Finally got onto the estate after throwing caution to the wind and literally spinning the wheels all the way up the smallest hill, used about a 1/4 tank of petrol. Onto the estate and have had to abandon the car at the entrance, after finally managing to get two wheels on the pavement.

Looks like it will be staying there for the foreseable future, snow showers forcast all night and tomorrow. The missus is trying to get home in the vectra now. We'll see how close she can get.

I was supposed to be over in leeds tommorrow, it wouldnt be too bad if I could get out of the estate onto a main road, but it aint going to happen.

Im in a strage place at the moment, I both love and hate the snow at the same time

Not looking forward to the 250 mile trip home tomorrow. coming from South of the M25 to Stockton on Tees, steady away is the order of the day.
