First time uploading images but hope this works.
I must also admit that I have only recently been thought this method and completed two jobs but didn't take pictures of the results. On my second floor which I was preparing for tiling, client was so impressed with finish that he jokingly suggested that we should just paint floor and forget about the tiles:lol::lol:
The spreader handle is approximately 60cm wide and the blades come with either 3mm or 5mm teeth. Measure floor area and calculate required amount of levelling compound. Prepare bags, water quantities needed in measuring buckets and buckets for mixing. You'll need to be efficient and mix buckets as required, as you don't want the compound spread on the floor to go off by the time you have your next bucket mixed and ready to go. Easier with two people but allowing that you are working alone, get everything in place in order to avoid delays. Working from the furthest point with first mix, don't pour the entire mix in one go - only work over areas that you can reach. Pour sufficient amount on floor and spread with your spreader. The teeth on the spreader (5mm or 3mm) will find their depth helping you to achieve a flat floor. After say spreading a full bag, then use the spiked roller to remove any airbubbles.
Sorry - I'm a better tiler than I am a writer so hope this makes sense. Chris Roe was my master teacher and he may want to add some input here / refine my description of methods used.
