Very true Sully, i havent used "wiping blades", i just trowel over using Mapei leveller, which i feel is the best leveller i have ever tried and then roller it over. Its given me better floors than ever before but always willing to try a better method....so what do you say David ? Wiping blades ?

Hi ramic, you say that mapei is the best leveller you have used. What other types have you used? My mate swears by BALL stopgap, this is the one i also use but its the only one i have ever used have you tried it.

If so, how does it compare?

i use stopgap but only cause my nearest shop sells it, i dont rate it. utzin is better although i have only used it once so probably not a good enough test.

I have used loads of different makes...but lately i have been using Mapei fibre plan...top notch leveller......

suitable for concrete/timber/ and ufh...

Thta's good news but the spiked roller won't do the job on it's own. Any chance of some wiping blades to compliment the rollers Dave?

OK I am on to it. hopefully will have somthing in the next few days

BTW looks like the Dewalt D24000 wet saws, with stand, will be in any day (110v or 240v). Will come with a free 4-1/2" 900w Dewalt angle grinder too for the same price (£595 + VAT)
