right gents, went to quote for a job, will give the specs in a tic, I would like you to give me an idea of what you'd quote, I will tell you later what I quoted. The job is in a large victorian house being refurbed to be sold.
Bathroom upstairs..totally gutted, walls in need of making good.
wall 1....2.36 x 2.65
wall 2....2.36 x 2.00
wall 3....2.36 x 2.00...this wall is to have a shower.
wall 4....3.27 x 2.36 minus 1.30m2 for two windows, there is a box section in the middle of this wall, windows need trim.
total...22.10m2

bathroom floor is 8.30m2, requires plying out and flexi addy and grout.

kitchen, between the units is 3m2 in total, 4 sockets, walls in good shape, just require priming.
kitchen floor is 9.36m2..prob need levelling.

All materials to be included except the tiles..ie, trim, grout etc...

I will also tell you what another tiler quoted when we've had a few in..

Mark.

£1450 all inclusive of slc everything. What were you quoting Mark?and what was the other quote?let me guess £2100 from other quote?

i quoted £1470 that was an all in price and included patch plastering of the walls and levelling the kitchen floor....he drew a deep breath and then told me I was way off the mark and that another tiler had quoted £700 all in, i just laughed and said good luck..
