I bet the Nighthawks have played the UK before...they are UFB live. I've seen then many times, several times in little clubs where only about ~100 people can fit in. They are a local Washington DC band that has made it big and still act like they are nothing more than a bar band.


I saw them once with BB King, another time with John Lee Hooker.

In the mean time this lot are touring the uK this year, of course they clash with Aynsley Lister playing two miles away!!!

This is one I have been in touch with but some think he's too rock than blues, darned good entertainer though. On top of his fee you have to pay for a three course meal for four, looks like he needs all four!!

John, if you ever see these guys coming through you won't be disappointed with their show. The've been together for over twenty years. I still have their first album on vinyl (what's vinyl? 😀 )

Sold nearly all of mine, somedays I wish I hadn't but I managed to sell it at it's peak for just under £3k so didn't feel too bad at the time:lol:. Many many years putting it together and all gone within 2 weeks! 🙁 I've kept the bits that took months sometimes years to find or stuff with sentimental value like all 'The Jam' 7"'s and first pressings of some dance classics like Voodoo Ray. Most of it was dance music so it was quickly becoming devalued by re-pressings and MP3's. I loved the feel and sound of vinyl, not to mention the artwork:drool5:
