On the radio last week on Jeremy Vine Radio 2 an economics professer from a Glasgow university came out with a solution to the national debt. If everyone in the country worth over £1million were taxed 20% of their entire fortune it would clear the national debt instantly. The follow through would be that the FTSE would go through the roof and they would get nearly all their money back.

told his bishops to treat child abuse as a crime not a sin

thats a very good start, he just needs to drop this nonsence that women dont have the moral or spiritual capacity to become priests and accept them as equals and to accept homosexuality and the use of condoms and he would be alright in my book
