What’s the blinking point? I might as well just go and sign on the dole – then the system can start paying me!!! …
For goodness sake give me a shoulder to cry on … I’m selling a derelict bungalow on a quarter acre building plot, I just paid £300 to have the water supply left on (cos they were gonna charge me to disconnect it then reconnect it for £500) which I will also have pay the standing charge for – for water that I will never use! then today I’m informed by my agent I have to pay £275 for a full HIPS package including an EPC … a blooming energy performance certificate I need (to be legal) for a derelict building!!! no insulation, stud wall up one side, foundations missing, knackered double glazing, no boiler, no heating of any sort – and they make me get an EPC!!!! they are all smoking rhubarb! … I just paid £575 this week for NOTHING …… aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarg …… aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarg .... poorer than the proverbial church mouse I am and its not even Friday yet – so I’ve come into the alms bar for a free virtual beer to drown my sorrows. Will someone please put me in the virtual taxi if I’m still propping up the bar at closing time, forgive me I’m feeling rather fragile. :hang: the lot of em !!!!

hi Colour - i know you are a builder not too far away from me (checked you out weeks ago  ) as we are sorta in the same game .... my agent was around to measure up the bungalow today, he's back on Friday to measure the land (its about 1 / 4 acre) ... he releases the particulars as soon as we have the HIPS pack done (am doing that asap) cant release earlier due to legal reasons. Its located in a village north of Fareham between Portsmouth and Winchester, about 60~90minutes from you. If you PM me your details i can copy you when they are done (if not same as your www addy). cheers Stan ... off the forum via e we can espeak and I'll let you know bluntly what the business potentials are for you if you are serious.
