tile over tile that is on plasterboard ?

I've got to take a little box section out where the bath meets the end wall take tiles of the box section about 8 tiles and re ply and re tile , i said thats fine , i would like to take all the other tiles off and go back to battens and re plasterboard , and aqua panel where his bath / shower is at the moment or plasterboard and tank depends on prices he wants

But he just wants me to go over exisitng , i'm not going to do it , this could be 1 of those aggro jobs , let some one else take the risk and risk their reputation, because i'm not , i will do things the right way

Tell him how it is, anyone else worth their salt going to price for it should tell him the same then perhaps he might listen. The plumber should tell him that he needs thebath in too!

I tottaly agree with what every one else has said, I would avoid it unles he is willing to get it done right. Do let us know if he listens in the end.

I know i am probably being stupid here, but in cases like this is there no way you can explain the problems then get them to sign a waiver, so any later problems would be down to their own doing, and you would be in the clear :dunce2: its only a sugestion so dont lynch me lol......Alby
