So power wash cutters then no oil?

I've followed @LEE MAC's cleaning advice since owning my 1200 sigma, and when Derek from @Sigma UK was on site with me few weeks back he said it was the smoothest running cutter he'd ever used on site.
I've never put anything at all on my machine apart from oiling the cutting wheel and the mechanism that activates the breakers.
It truly does work like a brand new machine all the time.
