There's a ford update on the software to change how the central locking works, and the lock is called a hykee lock, commonly used now, some ford dealers will fit them. I am gonna fit my own.

So after all this Ford bashing say I want go buy a new van, what one should I buy?

They all have there downfalls, Lee. I'll tell you why I chose the custom, the spec of the limited is great, heated seats, heated screen, dab radio, voice controlled hands free and Bluetooth audio streaming, hill start assist, electric folding mirrors, etc, I don't think you get all that with other vans. The vivaros are a 1.6 engine, and are half the price new of the ford. And vw, are very expensive, and imo are a bit outdated, based on a 2004 design which has just been face lifted to death.
