Topps Bridge Saw

Hi all

Anyone had any experience with the Topps Bridge Saw large yellow radial arm saw currently £199.99 in Topps in my area seems good value but not sure on quality? Would love a Rubi but a bit out of my price range.

This is to be avoided......I have had plenty come back to me...I won't sell them anymore..and it is anything but portable...Gaz

This is true Adam and was a figure of speach,I have sold about 10...4 of which came back faulty..not good odds, I dont stock it anymore....Gaz

Hi,
Used one only the other day to cut limestone for a floor. Not my saw ....but when the need arrises on a regular basis I would buy one. I know its not your usual named gear but it did the job, cleaned down ok and saved loads of time. Its a bit big and heavy to move around.....but they probably all are ? At that price , if looked after it would pay for itself in no time with regular big wet cut jobs.....and not too expensive to replace. I havent used any other to make comparisons to be fair....but like I say it worked ok for me. Hope this helps.

Is this the QEP bridgesaw - I bought one of them from Topps and I love it.
Gaz if this is the saw you're on about then what kind of faults were people having?

If your talking about the yellow Bridge Saw from Topps then I have had one for about 9 months only used it once as its a hernia on wheels a proper pain to transport couldnt fault it for cutting though and in the end of the day you get what you pay for maybe it will last 3 years of hard use and a rubi might last 10:joker:

My post was made last December when still working for Topps.
Problems included
handles snapping off
water pouring out and over body instead of back in the reservoir
Machine head way out of alignment
and pump failures
The machine may well be fine now and problems may have been sorted, I couldn't comment about them now....Gaz

i bought the big yellow beast from topps, does a decent job i think but ended up buying a bigger van, :driving:
