Hi all went into topps the other day as i am a new trade account customer they offered me the following prices are these correct as the difference is ridiculous and they are next to each other.looks like mapei for me plz advise many thx

Yes Mapei is good as well.......go for the mapei then i say......have you tried CTD for your Mapei....?.

Wish i had a ctd near me, my closest one is 50 miles away, i get charged different prices by topps every time i go in, they still haven't sorted my trade account after a year or more of asking, keep saying they are waiting on head office to press the "button".....

i went in just b4 my holiday & as i haven't used topps for my mats etc for a while they've taken away my trade discount,now i'm more or less back on same price as customers walking into shop! :whatchutalkingaboutWTF:furious3:

Staff are always friendly, but to still be waiting over a year for my full trade account number is just poor if you ask me..

Why go to Topps, when your in the South-East of the UK, when you can go to places like Boydons of Croydon, and get Mapei for as little as £11 for flexible grey rapid set.................never touch Topps.

A local shop I use moaned I don't use them any more, Why? Because I can get it at a third of the price.

Topps told me about six months ago because I had not bought anything for such a long time I had to pay something ridiculous like £30+ for a bag of Palace Rapid Set because Trade Accounts were now graded on what you spent:stupid: I went down the road to Selco and got it for about £16.

tile giant seem to outdo topps prices, on most things,tiles and mats. I'm paying £15 for kera quick white or grey, £7 for stick,and £10 for d2. oh and a lot of topps lads now seem to work for tile giant.

You all may or may not know this but apparently your trade price is effected by the amount you spend on a regular basis, I had a large stock af addy and grout and several customers had their own Bal adhesives (three customers in a row wow). When I next went into Topps and purchased some items being pretty good with figures I noticed an overcharge that they rectified immediately and told me the system. Naughty naughty.

Theres no encouragment to keep paying there prices, They keep it a big secret like your ,ve just mentioned, And yes I go somewhere else so do many trades I know, How much business can you afford to keep losing.
