I think you will find David offers the best prices all year round and if you can find it cheaper then he will Price Match. 😉

certainly agree with that.
but it must show that the tiling industry unlike the high st must be doing ok if he doesnt have to have a sale.

Not necessarily, it might simply be a case of he has built a sufficiently good business to not to have to push items out of the door. In the passed these January "sales" were there to clear out the rest of the old stock that had accumulated during the previous year (and surplus xmas stock not sold) and was now "past season". Dave's business is not a high street business and he obviously doesn't have a huge amount of surplus stock tying up his money.

I do recall at various time in the passed year that there has been the occasional specific item or two being sold at a discount to move them on.

I don't think that the fact that Dave is not having a "sale" is a reflection of the tiling industry as a whole. We all know it is struggling, along with the rest of the building industry.

or if tiling industry was thriving, we'd all be making pots of money and not need a sale anyway?(I think?!)
