It says in showers allow grout to dry for two weeks before showering sure the customer will do that

!! ?? whats that got to do with the water reactivating the adhesive if water ingresses grout?, the background is plasterboard / substrate

im not saying it will make any difference i am pointing out that BAL tec say it is ok on to tanking but if you have sufficient water ingressionthrough the grout in a domestic shower without pinholes or cracks to damage the adhesive you need to change your grout

You can buy tubbed stuff by ultra that says waterproof and Ok for power showers I am not so sure

i was told when i started if i want to know if an adhesive or grout was suitable i should read the data sheet so that is what i do

Yeah I use it for splashbacks sometimes if I don't think I can grout the same day
