TX700 from CTD

10mm gold on both my TX and TS - Got the 22mm Gold for my TS40+ as I did a job before Xmas with 200x100x18mm thick, aggregate finish, vitrified Pilks and it flew through them:thumbsup:

I got the TX700N '09' model in December and we will very soon announce our engagement:lol::lol:

I use the 10mm all the time.. no probs..
The V and B rep that came out to see why we were having probs getting a clean snap, looked at my tools set up and just said he was stumped, but that he always allowed a 75%, wastage when cutting V and B tiles:yikes: I ran this through him, "So you have to cut 4 to get 1?".... he nodded.
I rang rubi, they emailed me with advice to get a 22mm for the very tough tiles, and believe me, they were extremely tough tiles:incazzato:

Yes doug.. the more pressure you have to apply when scoring to break the glaze then the larger the wheel.. this is so the wheel spindle will not break under pressure and last longer.

Some have a thick glaze doug and then the porcelenato body.... and no hand cutters touch them.. CTD sell one that is wet cut only..:mad2:

these ones were " fire and ice" series from Vand B, but eventually the TX700 with the 22mm wheel sorted them, I'd have been stumped otherwise as I was on a price:smilewinkgrin:
