garys place is 2nd rated of many appartments in hurghada and has 5 star reviews so should be amazing.
i went there in 1984 having hitched hiked with boats from lake Nasser to aswan down the Nile to Luxor and then a six hour taxi ride to hurghada to find only one hotel.slept on beach.the snorkelling was out of this world.
things change and grow but a trip of a lifetime for anyone who wins if you can take in a couple of days in Luxor .
i am sure there are reasonable roads now and maybe could fly.

There's still a week to go. Just looked at flights and the cheapest to Hurghada is from Birmingham, so that'd be spot on for you Ash.

mate it would cost me a fortune that I havnt got lol. need passports for me, missus and 2 kids. then the flights and food mind you I told my missus about the comp and she said..... she would make sure we had the money for that haha!...
