okay for small format tiles I have a really old rubi ts 30......its on its last legs......and I love it dearly.... great for splashies.........
and for anything up to 600 x 600 set traditionally then I whack out the TS60+.........
for larger format I used to use my TX700-or is it 900.....i cant remember I have used it so little..........and I honestly think its pants.........hence my purchase of a sigma 3EM (Gary the tiler said it was the best out there!)
and trusting his judgement I now own one...........and after souping it up a bit and adding the speed stripes.........it is miles ahead of the equivalent rubi......

IMO

I have to admit that I have no experience with the small format sigmas......except for a few minutes with Andy Carroll's one...

I am sure they do the job well........but for me its just a case of I am used to what i am Used to and I can achieve a faster result with it......so why change?

cue RayTT.......Or Gary........they will tell you I am SLOW LEE.................hehehhehheheee

Can i also say .. i find the number of votes compared to tilers on here very poor.... it costs nothing to vote you know..
Dave - I guess a lot of tilers who are members of this forum are like me - dip in and out occasionally to see what is going on and read anything interesting. Hence its taken me a month to find this post and vote. I use a TX700 as my day to day cutter, backed up by a Montolit and an old TS60 plus, which I cant help but love (when not cutting porcelain). But my favourite cutter is a TS30. Small and invaluable I recently got away using to cut some very tough porc that was just 165x85mm in size. I might be interested in replacing the Monty with a Sigma, but I doubt the TS30 will ever be replaced.

I have rubi ts40, rubi ts60+and for wet cut I use briccolina. Thinking to add something bigger and stronger. Last job had a tiles from CTD and their were 10 mm thick, my rubi ts60+ struggled a bit to brake them in a long way
