lots of us tilers are solitary workers or don't come across other tilers very much,so its good to hear fellow tradesmen points of view and ways of doing similar things,and latest trends in the industries and listen to so right plonkers to :lol:

i find the forum interesting as the way things are done in other country's different ways different methods diff styles it also helps to learn of new products and methods as for the people on the forum///////////////

It introduced me to the NETT course, its taken me from zero tiling knowledge to a fair amount (from tools to substrates to prep to materials), and most importantly its given me the confidence and support to tackle my own DIY job, which I would never have even considered doing without it

Oh yes, and its got me commenting on the tiling job of every programme I see on telly, much to the annoyance of my other half :yikes:

TF gave me access to the information and expert knowledge I needed to ensure I did my DIY jobs properly. Plus it's taught me how to prepare properly for tiling. But most of all it's a great community, where I can chat with people from around the world about loads of things including tiling.

Oh and they gave me a job cos I hung around here too often :lol:

well, what aint tilers forums done for me. ive read so many threads, not always posted in them, but read and learnt so many things that i never learnt in my course.

So many kind people on here, been offered tools, some printed polo shirts and a offer of a bit work if it comes up.

this website is the most useful ive ever been on.

So many thanks to all who makes it what it is and gives the help and advice to tilers like me.
