what has tilers forums done for you?

Tilers Forums Official Sponsors

I think everything said previous, sums it up for me. I know I'm pretty new on here. But I have met some fantastic talented people. It's good to be amongst kindred spirits (hope that dos'nt sound to soppy) My only regret is I did'nt find it earlier. Thank you Tilers forum.

it keeps you a head in the game....

so many things change so rapidly in the tiling trade/business that it would be impossible without this forum to keep up.

theres always someone who has experienced something different and that can only benefit us and the standards of the industry........

thats one thing we all can agree on on here ....lol

because things change so much etc and you get to learn them quickly on here...i find that some people snigger when you try and tell them about new products etc or methods because they dont want to change there views or methods imo...does anyone else get this?

I find tanking is a word used more often now than I've heard before from some other tilers, some shrug it off

Same as Brian, this guy had already had a big leak from one wall thru to the other side and still refused to have it tanked when I was retiling:yikes:

As Dean said, where do we start. primarily it was a source of learning, I set out to learn something every day. still knocked out by other tilers experience (s)

Great place for learning and asking questions on subjects that I have been usure of. I truly believe many tilers and diyers are more knowledgable than ever as a result.

Its introduced me to some excellent tilers from all over the country, improved my technical knowledge and saved me shed loads of money by 1. mistake prevention 2. time saving methods 3.finding the cheapest suppliers.
It also acts as a support network when things go wrong and pretty much any question on any topic tile related or not is answered very quickly
You only have to Look at the range of tilers on here and you can see it offers something to every one

What Gary said

But in addition I now know what Wivers looks like so I can cross the street, that in its self is worth membership

In an industry and craft that is not only technical in its execution but extremely dynamic in it's advancement, I joined a forum for reassurance.

I've not only gained the sought after reassurance, but have met (both personally and online) some truly excellent people that have helped me build my confidence, knowledge and ability. I have, also, been able to share work with fellow members and picked up work from the forum.

I would be only half the tiler that I am if it was not for tilersforums.com .

Good thread Bri!
