Even worse, knocking the spacer tub over in the adhesive mix! It ends up on your hands, on your trowel, on the tiles, and spacers in the mix when you're spreading which means you're going over it all again every time you pick a couple of spacers out. Grrrrrr.

Stained glass from China - via a UK mosaics supplier I hasten to add... I only know it's Chinese as I just showed it to Saad via Skype just now and he recognized it immediately and even he has trouble cutting it... and he could cut stained glass in his sleep! Good grief .... it looks beautifully thick and marbled, textured wavey underside, just gave up on another unsuccessful attempt at cutting it into thin strips, the splintering is unbelievable! Design change necessary...

I may have wasted £100 worth of material money there...

Site agent ( some ) are the laziest good for nothings, they wait for a visit from area contracts managers and then walk around acting like they've been into plots all the time so know what's done and what's not, the grin on my face when they get it wrong and you see them go beetroot red

When you've told them to clear the kitchen of dining table,fridge freezer,washing machine,dryer and cooker so you can tile the floor and the morning you turn up "Oh my husband didn't get round to moving those things for you."
"Don't worry about it I didn't think giving him a week to do it with his 3 teenage sons was enough notice,I'll happily spend an hour and a half moving it all into the garage by myself and put my back out for 3 weeks."

I didn't really say that to her though:lol: I added £50 and got my friend round the corner to help me move it and smiled the whole time.
