Said he didnt get paid for the job and there was problems. I contacted the company he was doing the work for and they said there'd been no problems and he'd got paid!
He's since moved so i dont have his new address (just the area) and just hangs up when he hears my voice on the phone. But Im patient!:59:

If you know a couple of dodgy looking guys who will help you out how about one of your friends phoning this tiler, asking for him to come a quote a full bathroom, you be there with a few un-savory looking friends, and once he's in the house, you come out with said dodgy bouncer friends and offer him a free ride to the cashpoint.

If you can't find any dodgy enough looking people to help out, Gaz n Dave will most probably be willing 😛

Hows this for taking the pish a good mate (not any more) said he was wanting his bathroom done so could I go to the tile suppliers with him and get the gear. I did so, 33 m2 of tiles plus mats on my trade prices (remember he was a good mate so I take no profit) 4 days later he tells me the plumber he has to fit the bath only works with his own mate and works for only £95 a day so he feels obliged to let him do the tiling. I'm miffed but say nothing. Only a week later he comes back to me and says the guy whos doing the tiling is a good general builder who does most types of work but doesn't have much in the way of specialist tools so would I lend him my cutters and trowels. No prizes for guessing my answer??

lThe tiling world's full of **** taking chancers-ZERO TOLERANCE that's what I say-once had a kitchen fitter who paid a hundred quid deposit for fancy glass mosaic borders-I ordered them from Spain and a week later phoned him to collect and pay the balance.When he came in he said he could get something similar for half the price and could I match it and that the punter wouldn't know the difference-when I told him to **** off he asked for his deposit back to go and get the cheaper versions (which he didn't get back):mad2: Thing is he had these fancy plastic cards and the next time he came in for trim he asked if I was needing more of his cards to which I replied yeah I've ran out cause they're ****ing great for taking wax packers off the front of tiles-but they blunt rather quickly-his face was a picture-ain't seen him since:lol: :hurray:
