Morning morning!

So I’m supposed to doing a job next weekend, it’s 4 pieces of 240 x 120 cut in to a shower and bath area. It’s already a pain in the butt cos of the clients constant phoning and texting over the most ridiculous things, all code for
“are you still coming here and giving up your weekend for a pain in the add job?”
Well it took another turn yesterday!!
I got a voice mail and a text message from a distraught client stating that .......
Ctd Battersea (worlds end tiles) had called her and stated to her that, I HAVE to be there on the day of delivery!
Reason?
Because their driver doesn’t have the appropriate lifting equipment to remove them from the truck!
It’s FOUR pieces ffs! And they’re only 240 x 120, they’re not even big!
My question is........ well if they don’t have the facility to get them off, how the hell they get them on there in the first place? :D
I’m still not gonna be there tho, unless someone’s gonna Pay me and Mark a days wages for lifting 4 times off a truck!

Oh kerbside here is normal, normally drop them in the road and run! So you have to move them immediately or you’ll get done for causing an obstruction. Not much room on the roads round here. Liberty takers. But not heard of the supplier making those demands before to be honest. And Ctd have only just started selling these tiles.
Looks like they may have to stop soon, unless they put their delivery charges up £500 a drop to cover the cost of two guys sitting around all day to lift a few tiles. :p
