Most Tilers should be trying to achieve a 100% solid bed of adhesive. Back buttering the tile itself is also essential. Whilst the clips used aren’t particulariy great, I doubt very much that a different type of clip would’ve saved a very poor tiling job.

It's shocking isn't it and they argued with me that they were lates to British standards of tiling.... hence all the hollow sounding they wouldn't have it.

It is a complete utter bodge job. The Silicon repair is just beyond belief!
This highlights the danger that comes with clips/lash systems, in that a decent "looking" job can be achieved quite easily.
But like beauty - tiling is much more than just skin deep.
I doubt they are capable of fixing their own mess.

Looks like Vitrex lash clips, in my experience of them they tend to lift the tile off the adhesive if not pushing down as you wedge them.
Useless things really.

They are not having the option to correct it for the third time.. I am having a qualified tiler come to do it and not my insurance bodge job merchants

House was flooded in May 2018. This is there approved repairist and there 2nd time of laying the tiles badly

How long after the flood did they tile it - ie was the floor dry?
What type of flood - river/washer?
